This Mother’s Day, sons and daughters everywhere will give their mothers flower. However, if you want to go a slightly more original route, consider giving your mother a fabric flower bouquet. We used a few of our favorite Elizabeth Olwen fabrics, available at Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores.
Step 1.) Start by cutting strips of cloth about 2″x16′. Cut a strip for every flower you are hoping to make.
Step 2.) Glue the end of a strip of fabric to wooden skewer.
Step 3.) Using a hot glue gun, make 1/2 inch strip of glue on the fabric.
Step 4.) Gather fabric along glue line and repeat step 3 and 4.
Repeat with different fabric strips and arrange in a cute vase.
