Mother’s Day is just two days away and for those who are still wondering what to give the woman in your life who is responsible for your existence, then this last minute DIY project is for you!

It’s fast, easy and is sure to make mom smile!

SUPPLIES:

  • Fabric scraps
  • Mason jars
  • Mod Podge
  • Foam brush
  • Scissors
  • Pencil

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Lay your mason jar down on the fabric print-side down, measure the jar from top to bottom to see how long you need to cut your fabric for it to cover the entire inside of the mason jar and mark with pencil.
  2. Wrap the fabric around the mason jar to measure how much fabric you need to cut and mark with pencil. Cut out your fabric.
  3. Measure 1-inch strips from the fabric you just cut and cut those out individually.
  4. Pour your Mod Podge into a bowl and taking each piece individually, dip the print-side of the fabric into the Mod Podge and brush off excess glue.
  5. Carefully place the strip inside the jar, print-side facing out. I used my brush to help smooth the bubbles and curves, as well as making sure it lined up properly and there weren’t any gaps in between fabrics.
  6. Repeat step five until the inside of the mason jar is completely covered in strips.
  7. Leave to dry for at least 24 hours. Bigger jars could take longer to dry.
  8. Once dry, fill your jars with your mom’s favorite flowers!
