  1. 1 ¼ yards Jarred Vegetables
  2. 1/2-yard Savory Recipes
  3. 1/2-yard Fresh Vegetables
  4. 1/2-yard Asparagus
  5. 1/2 Tableware Leaf
  6. 1/4 Tomatoes
  7. 1/4 Red Cabbage
  8. 1/4 Market Fresh
  9. 1/4 Carrots
Cutting:
  • From Savory Recipes, CUT:
  • One 16 ½square = A1
  • From Market Fresh, CUT:
  • One 8 ½ Sub cut strip into four 8 ½ squares = A2
  • From Tomatoes, CUT:
  • One 8 ½strip from each fabric. Sub cut four shapes from the wedge template = A3
  • From Red Cabbage, CUT:
  • One 8 ½strip from each fabric. Sub cut four shapes from the wedge template = A4
  • From Tableware Leaf, Cut:
  • Two 7 ½ Sub cut eight shapes from the pie template = A5
  • From Asparagus, Cut:
  • One 8 ½ Sub cut strip into four 8 ½ squares = A6
  • Four 2 ¼x WOF = BINDING
  • From Carrots, Cut:
  • One 7 ½ Sub cut strip into four 7 ½ squares = A7
  • From Fresh Vegetables, Cut:
  • Four 4x WOF. Sub cut two strips 4x 32 = Side Borders and two 4 x 39.5 = Top & Bottom Borders.

Center Block

Block Assembly:

Center Block

  • Place A2 square on top A1 square, right sides together.
  • Stitch diagonally from corner to corner as shown. Trim ¼beyond stitching.
  • Press open to reveal triangle.
  • Repeat for the remaining corners of square to complete center block.

Make: 1   Block 1
Block 2

  • Place A5 pie shape on top of A3 wedge shape, right sides together and matching notch.

    Pin together at notch.

  • Aligning raw edges, match corners and pin. Add pins as needed to ensure a smooth seam and stitch together.
  • Press seams toward darker fabric.
  • Make: 4 Block 2
  • Repeat the above steps: placing A4 wedge shape on top of a A5 pie shape, right sides together and matching notches.

Make: 4   Block 2
Block 3

  1. Place A7 square on top A6 square, right sides together.

    Block 3

  2. Stitch diagonally from corner to corner as shown.
  3. Trim ¼beyond stitching.
  4. Press open to reveal triangle.

Make:  4  Block 3

Quilt Assembly:

  1. Lay out rows as shown (see quilt top diagram below).
  2. Join blocks together in rows; rows together to complete the quilt top.
  3. Add side borders to quilt center sides. Add top & bottom borders the the quilt top and bottom.Miapic3

Finishing:

  1. Layer backing, batting and quilt top; baste and quilt as desired.
  2. Trim and square your quilt.
  3. Join the 2 ½strips together for one continuous piece for binding. Fold in half lengthwise and press. Stitch raw edges of binding to the front edge of the quilt with ¼  Turn the folded edge under and press. Hand stitch in place or use a machine and stitch in the ditch.
