Neon Paisley Headband Craft

Looking to add a little flair to your hair-do of the day? With just a few steps you can create this fun project in less than an hour.

Supplies:

Directions:

  1. Cut a 1 ½” by 12” strip of the bandanna
  2. Put hot glue on hand band, small area at a time.
  3. Pull bandanna around headband and hot glue it to the headband
  4. Fold ends at angle, and hot glue to inside
  5. Cover the meeting of bandanna on the inside of the headband by hot gluing a ribbon over it.

Bow:

  1. Cut another strip 5” x 9” from the bandanna
  2. Then fold the piece of fabric in half (long sides) are facing each other
  3. Press with iron and hot glue meeting point of fabric
  4. You should now have a strip that is  2 1/2 “ by 9”
  5. Now fold in ½” and hot glue the 2 ends.  You should now have a loop that is 2 ½” by 4 ½”.

Loop to hold Bow:

  1. Cut 1” by  2 ½ inch strip from bandanna
  2. Then fold the piece of fabric in half so that the long sides are facing each other
  3. Press with iron and hot glue meeting point of fabric
  4. Then form loop and hot glue to handband

Now you can gather the bow fabric in the center and push through the loop on the hand band to complete the bow.
