Want to add some color to your kid’s room without spending tons of money on framing? This easy wall art project can do just that! Choose coordinating fabric to fit with your child’s bedding theme, room design, or favorite Disney character. It’s simple enough to complete, so if you’re on a roll why not go ahead and make some for yourself?
- 10” hoops (3)
- 6” hoops (3)
- 12” x 12” fabric squares (3)
- 8” x 8” fabric squares (3)
- Pencil/Fabric Pen
*Fun Tip: If you have fabric left over from various projects use those scraps!
Lay out your fabric right-side down and place your hoops on the fabric. (If your fabric is patterned, you may want to consider placement of the hoops.) Draw a line along the outside of each hoop. Then, draw another circle outside of that one that measures 1 ½” larger than the first circle. This larger circle will be the one you cut out.
Make sure to do this with all of your hoops. Then cut them out!
Place the fabric in the hoops in the right placement. Tighten the screw and adjust the fabric until it’s smooth. If necessary, trim off the excess fabric.
You’re all set! Hang the decorative circles on the wall in an attractive arrangement. The best part is that you can use a variety of fabric or different size hoops and tailor this project to fit any room or occasion. Happy crafting!
